Lindsey Markus is doing well in her second career. She was recently promoted from associate to principal at her law firm, Chuhak & Tecson, in Chicago. She had been working in domestic and international finance when she noticed something that would end up sending her in a different career direction: “I recognized that at every critical juncture a lawyer was involved.” She completed a law degree at Loyola University and now focuses on corporate and business law, estate planning and trust administration. Jennifer (Gutmaker) Morgan, along with her husband, Dr. Jonathan Morgan, and daughter Alexandra, welcomed Juliet Elizabeth on Nov. 27, 2010. Congrats to Darrell Newman Phillips, who graduated from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. Arieh Lanin is a partner and a member of the mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity, and securities regulation and corporate governance practice groups at the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Century City, Calif. Leigh Graham is an assistant professor of urban policy at the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy at the New School in New York. She and her husband, Steve Moga, welcomed their first child, Matthew Sven Graham-Moga, on April 18. Leigh and Steve wed Oct. 23, 2009, in Hartford, Conn. Leah Bensen Lipskar was the matron of honor. Other Class of ’97 attendees included Denise Seldman Benun and Gail Paris Schwartz. Aaron Lipskar ’98 sang at the wedding. Leigh met her husband at MIT’s urban studies and planning doctoral program, from which she earned a Ph.D. in 2010.
