Barbara Rachelson has served as executive director of the Lund Family Center for the last 14 years, transforming Vermont’s oldest adoption agency into a multifaceted family assistance provider. Through Lund’s comprehensive network of adoption, residential, education and community-based services, Lund improves the lives of 5,000 children and family members each year. “I know that what Lund does makes a difference,” she told an interviewer. “So often we have heard from our clients who don’t think they would be alive if it weren’t for Lund.” Artist Philip Gerstein has exhibited in Maine and New York and extensively in the Boston area.
