Marcos Dantus is a University Distinguished Professor in the chemistry department at Michigan State University. In addition to a fruitful scientific career, he has founded four startup companies. His latest endeavor is the creation of a headband that indicates if an athlete has received a head impact, which could help make youth sports safer. Stephanie Dulitz Katz was installed as president of the board for The Arc Montgomery County, an organization that identifies, sustains and creates inclusive communities that embrace and engage individuals and families affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities.
