Jack E. Davis, PhD’94, 2018 Pulitzer Prize-winning author of “The Gulf: The Making of an American Sea,” was an official panelist at the Mississippi Book Festival in August. That same month, an article in The Gainesville Sun showcased Jack’s transformation of his Florida home into “an environmentally friendly, Mid-Century Modern showpiece, using found and recycled materials whenever possible.” Petra Botha, IBS MA’98, has been named chief financial officer at Indiggo Associates, a business management consulting firm in Bethesda, Maryland.
