Victoria Jonas is in her second year of a PhD program in clinical psychology at Yeshiva University’s Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, in New York City. She is engaged to be married to Yoni Sebag ’13 in June. Jassen Lu is attending law school at George Washington University. He expects to graduate in 2021. Giselle Silberman and Avi Cohen, who received MSW degrees from Boston College in May, were married on Aug. 5 at the Brandeis Faculty Club. Alison Steinfeld ’73; Dori Stern, MA’80; Jonah Cohen ’10; Nicole Cardona; Michelle Savuto; Zach Reid; Kate Lazar-Vargas; Jose Lazar-Vargas; AJ Casner; Elan Wong; and Sung-Jae Park ’16 attended. Amanda Jane Stern is a supporting lead in the film “1 Angry Black Man,” which had its world premiere at the Blackstar Film Festival, in Philadelphia. The film, which was ranked among the top three at the festival, has been described as “12 Angry Men” meets “Dear White People.”
