Jonathan Kane received a JD from Fordham University School of Law (magna cum laude, Order of the Coif) and a Máster Universitario en Derecho Internacional y Europeo de los Negocios (Master of Laws in International and European Business Law) at Comillas Pontifical University, in Madrid. He works at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel. Beth (Katz) Kantrowitz and her husband, Michael, welcomed son Miles on May 1. She graduated from pediatrics residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and is now an attending pediatrician at Mount Sinai-Brooklyn Heights. Ethan Meltzer and his wife welcomed a baby girl, Evelyn. Ethan’s grandfather is Stephen Meltzer ’52, G’10.  Lital Shair Nada received a Master of Science in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University in May. Chris Payson has completed a PhD in English at Tufts; her dissertation is titled “Providential Defiance: Women Contesting Theocracy in American Historical Fiction.” She is a visiting lecturer at Framingham State University. Benjamin Rotstein, who lives in Colorado, enjoyed visiting Zachary Einzig ’09 (and others) in New York City this summer. Kenneth Small Jr. was named head girls’ basketball coach at Arlington (Massachusetts) Catholic High School. A Waltham resident, Kenneth previously spent three seasons as head girls’ varsity coach at Newton Country Day. He also serves as director of women’s basketball for the Boston Bobcats AAU program, and has trained NBA and collegiate athletes. At Brandeis, Kenneth was captain of and a four-year starter on the basketball squad. Talisa Torres was accepted as a member of the 30 Under 30 Program at Elliott Masie’s Learning 2018 Conference.
