Jessica Greenberg Batkin and Adam Batkin ’04, MA’05, welcomed their third child, a boy, in May. The family lives in Stamford, Connecticut. Jessica is on leave from her career as a veterinarian, and Adam is a vice president at AQR Capital Management. Sarah Black, husband Nick and their two cats recently moved to New Orleans, where Sarah is now an assistant professor of psychology at the University of New Orleans. Eliza Gregory Coll, husband Sean and 3-year-old son Miles welcomed baby boy Ellis on July 24. The family lives in Phoenix. Eliza is director of public health services at Willdan Homeland Solutions. She serves on the boards of the Arizona Public Health Association and the Arizona Emergency Services Association. Elan Divon, MA’05, co-created the Einstein Legacy Project in 2015 to mark the centennial of Einstein’s relativity theory. In 2017, the project produced the world’s first 3D printed book, “Genius: 100 Visions of the Future,” featuring essays by 100 of the world’s leading minds and influencers. A miniature of the book was printed aboard the International Space Station. This summer, Elan launched Millennium Mastery, a personal-development program for young professionals, in Los Angeles. Stephen Goldstein was voted by his peers onto Boston Magazine’s Top Dentists list for the second consecutive year. Stephen is completing his acquisition of Holly Tree Dental, in Hanover, Massachusetts. He lives in Norwell with his wife, Amy, and their son, Max. Sophie Innerfield and her husband, Nick Balkin, in April welcomed their second daughter, Joanna Barrie. Sarah Kaplan is the licensing coordinator and special assistant to the deputy commissioner of health systems at the State of New Jersey Department of Health. Beth Mann is photography editor at Shannon Media, where she is responsible for shooting, contracting and sourcing photography for three monthly and five annual publications. She also has a thriving photography studio in Durham, North Carolina, called Early Bird Photo. Samantha Brinn Merel, husband David and son Will welcomed a baby girl, Isabella Brinn (“Bella”), on March 27 in White Plains, New York. After six years at Sidley Austin in Manhattan, Samantha left her private law practice in fall 2016 and is now a senior editor at Practical Law, a division of Thomson Reuters, where she is head of New York trusts and estates content. After seven years in New York, Rabbi Philip Weintraub and family have moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, for warmer weather and new adventures. Philip is serving Congregation B’nai Israel.
