Brandeis is excited to announce a new Moodle — a refreshed learning management system beginning Fall 2024!

Moodle 4 was selected as the university’s new Learning Management System (LMS) provider to replace LATTE, which has been used since 2007, and revitalize the LMS with this significant upgrade.

The new Moodle is a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators, and learners with a single robust, secure, and integrated system to create personalized learning environments. Although LATTE is built on Moodle 3, the new Moodle 4 platform is a significant upgrade. Brandeis will take this opportunity to work with faculty-led working groups encompassing functionality, policy, and rollout planning under the direction of the Academic Technology Advisory Committee to assess faculty and student needs relating to the LMS and to ensure that Moodle 4 will provide a robust LMS that is tailored for the needs of Brandeis.

Stay tuned for more information about this exciting Moodle 4 LMS Implementation.
