A weekly Peace Vigil has been held in the center of the Peace Garden, on the Peace Monument, since January 2007.
Whether you are part of a religious tradition or not, the Brandeis Chaplains welcome community members to join them outside Usdan at the Peace Monument every Friday from 12:20-12:40 p.m. to be mindful of wars abroad and to express together our hope for a just and speedy resolution. Stand with us in solidarity with all those whose lives have been impacted by war—innocent citizens, members of our armed forces, those who have been wounded and killed. Stand with us as a witness to hope for peace.
