Improving University Transportation

In the summer of 2021 reevaluated our transportation system by sending a comprehensive survey to undergraduate and graduate students. The findings from the 2021 Campus Transportation Survey were presented to university administrators and the general public over zoom on 10/26/2021. 

Changes implemented thus far: 

  • Added evening shuttle service: ​​Evening Waltham Shuttle (Joseph's Transportation Monday - Friday 4 PM to 12 AM): Schedule | Route Map
  • Transportation sustainability committee: A committee of students, faculty, and staff are working with the Office of Sustainability to optimize transportation from a sustainability perspective. 
  • Accessibility Improvements: The accessible transport van is fully staffed and operational. Conversations are being had between Student Accessibility Support and Public Safety about how to meet the needs of mobility-impaired students. Feedback and input is greatly appreciated!
