How to Apply

Selection of Students

Each fall, a selection of students enrolled in the seminar Nature's Nanotechnology (FYS 11a) will be invited to take the experiential-learning practicum (EL 24b) in the spring semester. Students who successfully complete the first-year QBReC courses will be given the opportunity to apply for summer research fellowships that will support their research in a QBReC lab of their choosing. The hope is that these students will be inspired to continue with research in the second and later years, and will become participants in the QBReC program.

Application Review Process

During the university’s application review process, Undergraduate Admissions Representatives will nominate students who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the sciences. Around mid-February, nominees will be invited to submit a short application detailing their interest in interdisciplinary research and the QBReC program.

All applications must be received by your assigned deadline in February. If you have any questions, please contact Admissions, admissions@brandeis.edu.
