The website redesign is an opportunity to take a fresh look at how web content is organized, managed and maintained across brandeis.edu. This includes the experience of the editors and teams responsible for managing content across the university.
Web Governance
Web governance is a priority for this project. As the university has evolved, the web has too. This redesign is the right moment to explore and define more sustainable content management practices across the site.
Web editors will be part of this conversation, and we'll be reaching out soon with a brief survey to gather your input.
CMS Platform
Brandeis will remain on Cascade. CMS options were evaluated as part of the project planning process and the decision was made to stay on the platform the university has used for many years.
As part of the redesign, templates and content structures will be evaluated with the web editing experience in mind.
Site Maintenance
Web editors should continue maintaining current sites as usual. If you need help managing your website due to staff departures or gaps, please reach out to cmshelp@brandeis.edu.
