Event Facilities
Hassenfeld Conference Center
The Hassenfeld Conference Center, renovated in 2019, provides an all-inclusive facility for conferences, meetings and training seminars.
The conference center is an accessible facility that encompasses Sherman Function Hall, Geller Conference room, Luria Conference room, Levine Ross Conference room and Feldberg Lounge. All of these rooms are located on the same floor and can be used in conjunction with each other or separately, depending on your event needs.
Hassenfeld is equipped with its own kosher meat, kosher dairy and non-kosher kitchens, making it the ideal location for any event that has Kosher needs.
The Faculty Club
The Faculty Club is the university's most popular spot for functions. This well-appointed private function space is situated just steps away from the Berlin Chapel. Located on top of a small hill, the Faculty Club offers multiple rooms in a unique function space.
The Main Dining Room, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows on two walls, can accommodate up to 140 guests with a dance floor.
The Faculty Club does not have a kosher kitchen, although kosher meals can be provided for individual guests.
Chapels
Brandeis University is home to three chapels. Berlin Chapel, the largest of the three, is the Jewish house of worship. Bethlehem Chapel serves the university's Catholic community and Harlan Chapel serves the Protestant community.
Academic Spaces
In addition to our multi-use spaces, Brandeis has 75+ classroom spaces across campus. Classrooms are equipped with varying seating arrangements and technology to fit your needs. Media Technology Services are continuously upgrading spaces with new technology to accommodate various modes of teaching and learning. Because of class schedules, classroom spaces cannot be reserved before 6:45 p.m. Monday – Friday. Classroom setups cannot be altered, and food is not permitted.
- To host your program over the summer, see Summer Programs.
- During the academic year, we are unable to provide overnight accommodations in our residence halls. For places to stay, there are many off-campus lodging options available.
