Green Commuter Day Fair

Friday April 23 8:00 AM-10:30 AM

Napoli Room Gosman Athletic Center

All Community Members are invited to attend the Green Commuter Day  Fair from 8 AM-10:30 AM to learn about Green Commuting Options with information and representatives from:

  • Human Resources- sign up for the Pre Tax T-Pass Options for Employees and Discounts to Grad Students
  • MyBikeOnline.org-Learn about their low cost monthly bike rentals (great for first timers and students!)
  • Free Bike Mechanics- get maintenance help and tips
  • ZipCar- Find out what car sharing is- get a special Brandeis Discount
  • Pietzo Electric Bikes-Test Ride their awesome Electric Bikes
  • Campus Sustainability Initiative- see how only one day a week of a "greener" commute adds up to big environmental benefits. Also learn more about the solar power on Gosman Roof
  • Reminder: Shower and Locker Facilities in the Gym open to all Brandeis Community Members
  • Breakfast- free food for pledgers only! But feel free to come and learn more- raffle prizes available for everyone who attends!

Ask around your office or to find carpool matches go to MassRides TripMatcher. The special passes have all ready been given out.

Take the Pledge
Brandeis Staff, Faculty, and Commuting Students who participate in the Green  Commuter Day by pledging their action will be rewarded. If you all ready have a green commute- why not get rewarded.  Prizes for pledgers and Fair attendees  include Charlie Cards loaded with credit, Bike Shop Certificates, Gift Cards to local restaurants and much more!
