General Safety
No one can guarantee your safety whether you are at home or at Brandeis. The Department of Public Safety, however, can help you protect yourself and your property by reducing the possibility of being victimized. As a member of the community, you can help the police in reducing the potential for criminal activity.
Security Measures on Campus
Security issues relating to Brandeis University and its community are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Representatives from various constituencies on campus are consulted before major security policy changes are implemented. The University Personal Safety Committee meets throughout the year to review safety concerns identified by the various committee members.
