The top two things you can do to prepare yourself for an emergency are:
University leadership can notify community members about emergency situations on campus through the Brandeis Emergency Notification System (BENS). Sign up for BENS so that you will receive text and voice messages during campus emergencies.
Being prepared for what to do in case of a major criminal occurrence, bomb threat, fire, hazardous materials release, natural disaster, power outage or suspicious object helps keep the Brandeis community safe. Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures before they occur.
