Register for Early Notification

Following the tragedy at Virginia Tech in 2007, Brandeis strengthened its crisis management procedures and emergency communications systems. University leadership can now notify community members about emergency situations on campus through:

  • Brandeis email
  • Brandeis voicemail
  • Voice and/or text message sent to your personal cell phone (requires registration)
  • Broadcast message on phones located in offices, classrooms and other public gathering places
  • The Brandeis website
  • Plasma screens around campus
  • Your personal email account (requires registration)
We strongly encourage you to register your cell phone number and personal email address. Your participation will require very little time, but it may help ensure your safety and that of other community members.
