Entering your crisis contact information on this page requires very little time, but it may help ensure your safety and that of other Brandeis community members during a crisis.

You may also use the Crisis and Weather Phone Numbers and Email Addresses page to direct Brandeis not to contact you during a crisis except via your campus phone and Brandeis email address.

Instructions for Individuals with Sponsored Accounts

Sponsored account crisis contact information is managed through Brandeis UNet Account Tools, a self-service website provided by Library and Technology Services that allows you to easily and confidentially update your personal information.

The crisis contact information you provide will help the university keep you safe and fully informed during a crisis or severe weather event. 

The information that you provide will be used only for crisis communication and severe weather alerts.

Entering your crisis contact information 

  • Go to the Crisis and Weather Phone Numbers and Email Addresses page and log in using your Brandeis username and password.
  • In the first box on the page, enter up to three personal phone numbers for the university to use when sending you voice messages during a crisis or severe weather event.

  • In the second box enter a personal email address for the university to use when sending you email messages during a crisis or severe weather event.

  • Click Confirm and Submit.

Opting Out

If you wish not to be contacted by Brandeis during a crisis or severe weather event except via your campus phone and Brandeis email address, click on the checkbox labeled Opt-out and then on Submit.
