Nicola Goren was named president of the Washington Area Women’s Foundation. She had been the acting CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service, where she had worked since 1997.
Melissa Fox is running for the office of representative in the 70th Assembly District in California.
Stu Kolinsky and his wife, Lori, welcomed a son, Joshua Ari, on Feb. 10. They reside in Manhattan.
Lori Bring’s daughter, Ilana, became a bat mitzvah on March 27.
Laurie Hirsch Schulz recently started a new position with Visa in the firm’s marketing consulting group. Laurie, husband Jay and two girls (ages 7 and 10) returned to Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., in August 2009 after two chocolate-filled years living in Zurich.
Streaming Media magazine named Robert Levy, the production operations manager and executive producer at Discovery Digital Media, to its list of Streaming Media All-Stars.
