Starting in the fall of 2012 the Mandel Center for the Humanities at Brandeis University will introduce its first postdoctoral fellowship: The Charlotte Zysman Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Humanities. This two-year, non-renewable fellowship will rotate fields among the disciplines in the Humanities, starting in 2012-14 with a fellowship that combines Art History and Literary Studies. In addition to teaching one course per semester, the fellow will also give a formal lecture at the Humanities Center during the first year. This lecture will be on his or her research. During the second year of the fellowship, the fellow will organize a small conference or symposium on a related topic.
