Courtesy Appointment Forms Courtesy Appointees are members of the Brandeis Community who are not paid, but who require a formal relationship to Brandeis for an academic purpose such as research, special academic use of the Brandeis facilities, or other special arrangements. They must have a faculty sponsor who is responsible for supervising the appointment. Appointments are given for a maximum of one year, though appointees may be reappointed annually as necessary. These are academic appointments through the Office of the Provost. All requests for Courtesy Appointments should be sent to: Ms. Irene Heier
