  1. CSS Profile is only required for need-based financial aid
  2. Parent(s)' and student's 2022 Federal Income Tax Returns, with all pages, schedules, business  returns, W-2s and signatures (upload via IDOC)

To simplify the application process, Brandeis requests that entering first-year regular decision undergraduate applicants initially file only the CSS Profile and the FAFSA. These forms allow us to estimate an applicant's eligibility for both Brandeis and federally funded aid. However, you may apply for just federal and state aid by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid only.

Please contact us if you have any questions about filing the CSS Profile or FAFSA forms, or access the Profile FAQs or FAFSA FAQs. To be considered for Brandeis financial aid, you must indicate your intent to apply for financial aid on the admissions application and submit required aid applications by the stated deadlines. After admission decisions are released, you will not be able to apply for institutional financial aid. Students can apply for federal financial aid, in the form of student loans or work-study assistance, at any time during the school year.

* Upon deposit to Brandeis, you will be asked to submit complete 2022 Federal Parent and Student Tax Returns (including any Schedules and W-2s) to verify the data provided on the Profile and FAFSA.
