Project Update

July 28, 2015Matthew Boxer

Data collection is entering its final phases in both the Boston and Nashville Jewish community studies. Currently, over 5,500 Jewish households have participated in the Boston study (more surveys from Jewish households than have been collected in any community study other than New York's 2011 study), and approximately 1,000 have participated in the Nashville study. Once the surveys close, the community studies team will turn its attention to cleaning and analyzing the data. We will make use of the work of the meta-analysis research team and JData to calibrate our estimates and help develop accurate estimates of the size and characteristics of the Greater Boston and Nashville and Middle Tennessee Jewish communities. We look forward to reporting the results of the studies by the end of the year.
