FLU Vaccine
It's not too late to get vaccinated for this winter's Flu season. Flu season usually peaks in Jan or Feb but can occur through May. Approximately 5-20% of US residents get the flu each year. Don't be part of that statistic! Get vaccinated today! Hours M-F 9-11:30 and 1-3:30 pm. Please bring $10 cash. You will receive a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as able.Immunizations
By Massachusetts State Regulations, all students must have documentation of required vaccines or proof of immunity through blood titers before coming to campus. Download the Health and Immunization Report Form (PDF). If documentation is not available, a student must begin all of the required vaccines before coming to campus. Students who have paid the health services fee may also use health services for travel planning and immunization. Vaccines are available on a walk in basis M-F 9-11:30am and 1-3:30 pm.
Occasionally a student begins an immunization series late and is unable to complete the requirements before arriving on campus. All members of the Brandeis community may use the Health Center to complete immunizations and for Tuberculin Skin Testing (TST). You will be charged a supply fee for the vaccine(s) and TST payable at the time of service. We will give you all the documentation you need to submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider as allowed by your individual plan contract. Flu Shots 2012-1013 Academic Year $20.00 (starting September 24th, 2012).

Students who believe they were immunized in the past and do not want to be immunized again may have a blood test drawn to detect the presence of antibodies. We charge $10.00 to draw the blood if you have not purchased the Health Service Fee. The laboratory costs will be billed according to the students health insurance policy and any uncovered costs are the responsibility of the student.
