Rev. Matt Carriker
Rev. Matt Carriker is the Protestant Chaplain at Brandeis University.
As an ordained Christian minister in the United Church of Christ (UCC), Matt is also an author, spiritual coach, and retreat leader. He is currently in the beginning stages of a new UCC church start in Waltham, MA called "Agape." Matt holds several part-time ministries - as Protestant Chaplain at Brandeis University, as pastor at Agape Spiritual Community, and as co-facilitator of confirmation retreats, youth retreats, and adult spiritual formation retreats through the Massachusetts Conference UCC. Matt is passionate about altering Christianity today into a spiritual tradition that models the unconditional love of God and the life and teachings of Jesus. Matt met his beautiful wife LaToya while serving as a Jesuit Volunteer in Belize. LaToya is a graduate of Boston College, where she got her graduate degree in Social Work (with a Global Practice concentration). Matt and LaToya live together in Waltham, Massachusetts.
