• Superintendents, principals, educators (humanities educators encouraged), district leaders, charter leaders, curriculum directors from across Arizona,
• University and college administrators, professors, trustees, and regents,
• We strongly encourage teams of professionals from the same district or school system to attend together.

• Strategies and practical tools to have difficult conversations and to recognize, respond to and prevent antisemitism and other forms of hate.
• Expert insights, historical framing, and ready-to-use resources to put into action.
• Select topics to include understanding Jews and contemporary antisemitism, Zionism and antizionism, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, research on antisemitism, case studies, and more.
• Alignment with Arizona Department of Education and Arizona’s Holocaust Education mandate.

The Inaugural Southwest Institute is presented by the Center for Jewish Resilience at Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona in partnership with Brandeis University President's Initiative on Antisemitism, in cooperation with Boundless and The Arizona Center for Judaic Studies of the University of Arizona and Holocaust Chair.
