JustArts is Brandeis University's biannual faculty and staff art show.

Brandeis faculty, staff, postdocs, and faculty emeriti are invited to show their creative work, including (but not limited to) photographs, paintings, jewelry, video, sculpture, fiber arts such as knitting and weaving, and so on. The next JustArts exhibition will be held October 2-23, 2023, in the Dreitzer Gallery, Spingold Theater Center. Artist registration is now closed.

Opening reception: Monday, October 2, noon-1:30 pm. All are welcome!

Please note: The Dreitzer Gallery is accessible by a flight of 7 stairs and there is no elevator or ramp. If you have any accessibility needs or need to show your work in an accessible part of the building, please email Ingrid Schorr at ingrids@brandeis.edu.

Entry Requirements

Submissions must be your own original work and should be fairly recent (past 5 years or so; we are not too strict!).
You may submit up to three pieces in any medium — painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, jewelry, etc. If your work needs a table, case, projector, speakers, or other special equipment, please explain on your application and we will do our best to meet your needs. If you're not sure about anything, just ask! Email Ingrid Schorr or call 781-736-5008.
While the exhibition is open to the Brandeis community, the organizers reserve the right to be selective about entries, for reasons including size or technical limitations.
It is not necessary to frame your artwork, but please keep in mind that unframed work will be pinned to the wall. We will have a small number of frames available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis.
