Information for Grant Recipients
Please note these dates as you plan for the Festival of the Arts.

April 25-May 1 | Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts |
May 2-3 | Artwork in the SCC must be removed by 11 a.m. on 5/1. Artwork in other sites must be removed by noon on 5/3 unless other arrangements have been made. (Some assistance and transportation provided, artists ultimately responsible for removal). |
May 15 | Survey response due to Arts Engagement |
May 15 | Last day to turn in requests for reimbursement |
General Guidelines

Projects should require minimal technical support.

Grants are distributed on a reimbursement basis. Reimbursements usually take 2 weeks to process from the date they are turned in.

Grants may not be used for wages or salaries (they may be used for stipends or other honoraria).

With certain exceptions, grants may not be used to buy major pieces of equipment or software.
Acknowledgment of Support
Grant recipients must mention the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts and credit the Brandeis University Office of the Arts in all print and online announcements, publicity, and programs for the funded project. The following phrase is recommended: “Part of the Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts and made possible [or Made possible in part] by the Brandeis Division of Creative Arts.”
