Hi! My name is Coco and I am a junior majoring in Education with a minor in AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Island Studies) and NEJS (Near Eastern and Judaic Studies). I am from New York City and I enjoy listening to Taylor Swift, working out, and meeting new people!  I have taken four amazing classes with Professor Doolan, the chair of the AAPI department, and I am currently enrolled in Professor Tam's Vietnam War Representations class. The particular area of study I am focused on is Asian American Adoption narratives and history, as I am an adoptee myself. I intend to write my thesis about China's one child policy and I look forward to continuing to get involved with students who are interested in the AAPI department! I am so excited to be this year's UDR and create some amazing events for the community! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
