U.S.-Israel Strikes On Iran

On February 28, 2026, the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iran, significantly escalating regional tensions. In response, Iran retaliated with missiles and drones aimed at Israel and U.S. military bases across the Middle East, including in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates. By Saturday evening, reports indicated that Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader since 1989, had been killed in the strikes.
