The Press will offer a paid internship to a MKTYP student to introduce them to book publishing, which minorities can find hard to access.

The intern will help in the daily running of the press and specific tasks such as creating and planning social media, marketing research, filing and organizing.

Filling the position and mentoring students and measuring interest.

The Press is expanding the subject matter of the books published to include BIPOC voices and subjects.

The Press has reached out to authors who are writing about racism and other concerns of the BIPOC community.

The Press will have more titles on the new book list that highlights more BIPOC authors and subjects.
Pursue diversity on the editorial and advisory boards.

The Press has determined that its two editorial boards need to be more diverse and will actively reach out to organizations that would make the opportunity known to BIPOC individuals.

The press will have reached out to Brandeis and external departments or organizations that would make this opportunity appealing to more BIPOC students.
