Recruit diverse candidates to apply for all open positions within the department (professional, graduate and undergraduate student employees).
Advertise positions in identity-based hiring platforms and social media pages related to higher education.
Increase diversity in the pool of qualified candidates.
Workshops would take place each semester and would be presented by hired professionals on the subjects.
Workshops will complement the training modules that would occur as part of Club Conference.
Provide one program each semester.
Attendance by at least 50% of the represented clubs.

Develop a process whereby clubs apply for mini-grants to incorporate diversity.
Learning outcomes must be connected to these events and an assessment must be completed at the end of the program.

Achieve at least three major programs throughout the academic year that promote, provide or teach diversity through club events.
Creation of a series of modules to exist within the new Club Conference training.
Modules will broadly cover areas of diversity training such as recruitment, event planning and accessibility.
Club Conference attendance is a requirement by all club leaders and will be tracked via Presence.
Clubs who do not complete all required modules of Club Conference will not be permitted to conduct official university business (financials, space reservations, event planning).
Recruit a diverse pool of graduate students, both from Brandeis and outside Brandeis.
Graduate assistant focuses and helps with diversity initiatives and works with club leaders to plan at least two major events for the campus community.
Graduate assistant helps plan workshops on topics of diversity and leadership.
