Students in this concentration land jobs in acquisitions, development, investment and market research, asset and portfolio management, finance and capital markets as well as property management, leasing and urban planning. Employers have included AEW Capital Management, CoStar Portfolio Strategy, Cushman and Wakefield, Forest Properties, JP Morgan, Walker & Dunlop and other leading firms.

Faculty Spotlight: Shaw Lupton

Shaw Lupton

Adjunct Professor Shaw Lupton is a director on the product leadership team at CoStar, a real estate technology company.

Before product, he helped CoStar's consulting business grow to advise over $1T in capital on fundraising, portfolio allocation, and diligence. Mr. Lupton has held several leadership positions with the Urban Land Institute, where he co-founded the Boston Real Estate Technology Council and is a founding member of the Americas Technology & Real Estate Council. He has been featured as an expert source in business media including Bloomberg, National Real Estate Investor and The New York Times.

The MA concentration in Real Estate Finance requires the completion of 18 credits.
