Inside Jacob Freed’s game day routine

We asked student athlete Jacob Freed, MA’25 to share how he spends a typical day at Brandeis International Business School

Jacob Freed, MA’25
8 A.M. 

I make breakfast (eggs and toast) and read the CSE Newsletter

9:15 A.M. 

I head to campus. I have a group presentation in class this morning for my Information Visualization course. We are presenting on NBA data.

11:30 A.M. 

I participate in the CSE Small Talk Challenge as part of the annual Professional Presentation Week. It’s a ton of fun and very helpful!

12:15 P.M. 

I grab lunch at Einstein’s and head to the Gosman Athletic Center. I am on the baseball team and we play against MIT today!

1:15 P.M.

I stretch and warm-up in the athletic training room and then head out to the field.

3 P.M.

The game starts! We finally have some warm weather.

6 P.M.

After the game, I do some recovery and then head to the dining hall for dinner.

8 P.M.

I start on homework assignments for a couple of my other classes.

11 P.M.

I’m done for the night, check my Google calendar for tomorrow and get ready for bed!
