Sana Ijaz, MBA’25: Peaceful walks to campus, Mergers and Acquisitions and cycling class

We asked current students and recent graduates to share how they spend a typical day at Brandeis International Business School

9:30 A.M.

Wake up and kick-start the day with my favorite banana shake.

10:30 A.M.

Enjoy my morning walk to campus, taking in the chirping birds and peaceful vibes. It’s my little escape before the day gets busy.

11 A.M.

Clock in for my shift at the Career Strategies and Engagement Center. Today’s task is a creative one, so I put on my artistic hat and crush a few design projects. I love it when work lets me flex my creative muscles!

2 P.M.

Take a quick break for prayer and then eat the sandwich I made last night. Meal prep for the win!

2:30 P.M.

Head to Mergers and Acquisitions class. My partner and I present the “Deal of the Week” about an acquisition in the pharmaceutical industry. I think we nailed it.

5 P.M.

Make my way to the Gosman Gym for cycling class with a friend. Her energy is contagious and by the end those endorphins are definitely kicking.!

6:30 P.M.

Join my project group for a quick meeting to brainstorm ideas and delegate tasks.

7 P.M.

Walk back home, cook a hearty pot of pulao (my ultimate comfort food) and unwind with an episode of Friends (my favorite show). Then I catch up on homework and it’s lights out!
