PUSH92 Fellowship

PUSH92 is a leadership development fellowship for first-year and sophomore students committed to growing as leaders within the Brandeis community and beyond. Coordinated by the Brandeis Intercultural Center (ICC), the fellowship creates meaningful opportunities for students to strengthen their leadership skills through mentorship, workshops, leadership training, and community engagement.

Grounded in the four core pillars of Passion, Adaptability, Curiosity, and Humanity, PUSH92 encourages fellows to lead with purpose, confidence, and integrity while building meaningful connections across campus. Through intentional programming, mentorship from upperclass student leaders, and collaborative learning experiences, fellows are challenged to grow personally, professionally, and communally.

The name PUSH92 honors the student activism and organizing efforts that contributed to the founding of the Intercultural Center in 1992 while reimagining leadership development for a new generation of Brandeis students.

Fellowship Experience

Throughout the academic year, fellows participate in workshops, mentorship sessions, leadership retreats, and collaborative discussions focused on leadership development, communication, professionalism, and personal growth. Programming is designed to help students strengthen transferable skills that support their academic, professional, and leadership journeys.

With mentorship and support from ICC staff, upperclass student leaders, and guest facilitators, fellows are encouraged to explore leadership through reflection, collaboration, and hands-on engagement. Select fellowship sessions have also included contributions from campus partners, including representatives from the Hiatt Career Center.

Capstone Leadership Project

The Capstone Leadership Project serves as the culminating experience of the PUSH92 Fellowship. During the spring semester, fellows apply the leadership practices, communication strategies, and personal growth developed throughout the program to address a real-world issue connected to their interests, values, or future goals.Student presenting during Push92 Capstone

Working alongside mentors, fellows identify a challenge, reflect on leadership approaches, and present thoughtful solutions through a short presentation. The project encourages initiative, critical thinking, professionalism, and leadership presence while connecting fellowship learning to practical application.

Capstone presentations highlight the creativity, growth, and leadership development of each fellow while celebrating their contributions to the Brandeis community.
