Brandeis Student Life

Students are an integral part of a university’s community. From Brandeis’ beginning, students have cultivated a vibrant student life both on and off campus. They have hosted dances, parties, and cultural events, participated in sports, the arts, and music, and started various organizations centered around their social, cultural, and political interests.

Beginnings and Endings
Two women are dancing in front of a stage where three men are playing drums and wearing a traditional African clothing style. The two women are bent at the waist and moving both arms to the side while facing each other.
Celebrations
Lots of couples are holding each other and dancing in a large room. The women are wearing formal dresses and the men are wearing tuxedos. The room is decorated with lots of balloons hanging from the ceiling. One woman is laughing really hard while her male dance partner smiles at her.
Dances and Parties
Five women are sitting in a crew boat on a river. Four of the women are rowing, and the fifth woman, the coxswain, is facing the other four.
Sports and Competitions

Studies

They are all wearing choir robes that have the letters, BSC, embroidered vertically on them. The conductor is standing in front of them with her back to the camera. She is wearing the same robes as the singers.
