Pick Up and Ship To Home

Library Pick Up

To request an item through OneSearch or Email: 
  1. Find the item in OneSearch. Then use the “Request Pick Up or Ship to Home” link to place your request. Note, you must be signed in using your Brandeis Account to receive this request link.
  2. For those who cannot login to OneSearch or would prefer to use email, you can email your requests to borrowing@brandeis.edu. Please provide as much information as possible including the title, author, year, edition, and volume. 
  3. Complete the request form, selecting “Main Library” as the Pick Up Location, then submit the request. 
  4. Once the item is ready, you will receive an email. 
  5. Visit the Information & Borrowing Desk during operating hours to pick up your items.

When coming to campus, please follow all of the University’s procedures, including wearing a mask and completing the daily health assessment tool. Please contact us at borrowing@brandeis.edu for accessibility accommodations.

Items can be returned through the book drop at the Library’s Usdan facing entrance or at the book return at the Information and Borrowing Desk.  All returned items will quarantine for 72 hours before being handled by staff.  

Contactless Pick Up Lockers

To request an item through OneSearch or Email: 

  1. Find the item in OneSearch. Then use the “Request Pick Up or Ship to Home” link to place your request.  Note, you must be signed in using your Brandeis Account to receive this request link.
  2. For those who cannot login to OneSearch or would prefer to use email, you can email your requests to borrowing@brandeis.edu. Please provide as much information as possible including the title, author, year, edition, and volume. 
  3. Complete the request form, selecting “Contactless Pick Up Lockers” as the Pick Up Location, then submit the request. 
  4. Once the item is ready, you will receive two emails. The first is indicating that the item has been located. The second is from LuxerOne and will include an access code to pick up your items.  If you did not receive one of these emails, please contact us at borrowing@brandeis.edu.
  5. Visit the lockers on level 2 of the Usdan Student Center (Near DCL) and enter your access code or scan the QR code to pick up your items.  

Note: Items will be held in the lockers for 72 hours. After 72 hours, the items can be picked up from the hold shelf at the Information & Borrowing Desk in the Goldfarb Library.

Ship To Home 

To request an item through OneSearch or Email: 

  1. Find the item in OneSearch. Then use the “Request Pick Up or Ship to Home” link to place your request. Note, you must be signed in using your Brandeis Account to receive this request link.
  2. For those who cannot login to OneSearch or would prefer to use email, you can email your requests to borrowing@brandeis.edu. Please provide the preferred shipping address and as much information as possible including the title, author, year, edition, and volume. 
  3. Complete the request form, selecting “Ship to Home” as the Pick Up Location and provide the preferred shipping address, then submit the request. If an address is not indicated, we will ship to the address in your Library Account.
  4. Once the item has been pulled, you will receive a confirmation email. Items will be shipped within 48 hours of receiving this email.
