“The Young and the Restless” star Jerry Douglas has co-written “JFK and Jackie,” a play that examines the relationship between the late president and the first lady. In the play, which recently had its first stage reading in Los Angeles, a restless JFK appears during a visit from heaven. Jerry, who plays JFK, says Kennedy’s appearance at Brandeis in the early 1950s inspired him. “His visit changed my life,” Jerry told the Boston Herald. “I will never forget the excitement we felt in the room. The future president was one of us.”
