Laura Lee Bahr writes that her debut novel, “Haunt,” won a Wonderland Book Award in the Novel of the Year category. Congratulations to Sarah Bromberg, who earned her PhD in art history at the University of Pittsburgh. Her dissertation was on images that illustrate Jewish and Christian biblical commentaries in medieval and Renaissance illuminated manuscripts and printed books. A few years ago, she presented at a Brandeis conference, “Patronage and the Sacred Book in the Medieval Mediterranean.” Payam Danialypour and his wife welcomed their third child, Dezauri Alec, on Oct. 16, 2012.
