Hebrew Undergraduate Department Representative

Samuel is a junior at Brandeis Majoring in Business, Hebrew, and Physics, with a minor in Italian. He is also the Co-President of the Brandeis Rowing/Crew Team.

The Hebrew department at Brandeis is special to Samuel because he has a deep connection with both the language and the people of Israel. He grew up with an Israeli father and Israeli grandparents, with whom he spent a lot of time (and with whom he spoke mostly Hebrew). He loves that he can have a real impact for the broader Brandeis community as a representative of the Hebrew department, as it’s a community that makes you feel like family!

Guy is in his second year at Brandeis; he majors in neuroscience and biology, on the pre-med track. Guy was born and raised in Israel and moved to the U.S. in 2020. Some clubs that Guy is a part of are: Mishelanu (an Israeli club that promotes Israeli and Jewish cultural activities) and The American Cancer Society. This year he is also starting a new pre-med club with some fellow students. Feel free to talk to him about anything; he is very interested in sports and movies as well!
