Chief Communications and Marketing Officer, The Juilliard School

Mary Caraccioli is a senior communications, marketing, and media executive with extensive leadership experience across world-renowned cultural institutions and major global media organizations. She currently serves as Chief Communications and Marketing Officer at The Juilliard School, where she leads communications, marketing, digital strategy, brand experience, and audience engagement, and oversees key earned-revenue areas including the box office and retail operations.

Prior to Juilliard, Mary was Chief Communications and Engagement Officer at the Central Park Conservancy, where she led a 60-person, multidisciplinary team responsible for marketing, communications, digital experience, programming, visitor services, design, analytics, and earned revenue. In this role, she strengthened the Conservancy’s public-facing presence while advancing revenue strategies that supported the stewardship of one of the world’s most iconic urban parks. Earlier, she served as Chief Communications Officer at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, contributing to organizational transformation and the expansion of its digital reach.

Before her nonprofit leadership roles, Mary built a distinguished career in journalism and media, holding senior editorial and executive positions at Disney/ABC, Comcast, Al Jazeera America, CNBC, and local news organizations. Since 2019, she has taught at Brandeis University, bringing real-world experience in strategic communications, storytelling, and leadership into the classroom.
