Required Exams / Language Proficiency
Master's Programs
Programs offering master's degrees may require that the candidate demonstrate a reading knowledge of at least one foreign language and pass a general or qualifying examination which, at the program's discretion, may be in one or more parts and may be written, oral or both.
Doctoral Programs
Prospective candidates may be required to demonstrate proficiency in at least one foreign language. In all areas of study, the student must satisfactorily pass a general or qualifying examination, which at the program's discretion, may be in one or more parts and may be written, oral or both.
