Anarchitect: A Conversation on Gordon Matta-Clark

Gordon Matta-Clark: Anarchitect opens at the Rose on September 21, 2019.

Join us during opening weekend for a conversation and exhibition walkthrough with exhibition co-curators Antonio Sergio Bessa, Bronx Museum Director of Curatorial Programs; and Jessamyn Fiore, independent curator and co-director of the Matta-Clark Estate.

In their tour of the exhibition, Bessa and Fiore will discuss the affective politics embedded in Gordon Matta-Clark´s artistic interventions. This program is organized in conjunction with the exhibition Gordon Matta-Clark: Anarchitect, on view at the Rose through January 5, 2020.

Gordon Matta-Clark: Anarchitect is organized by The Bronx Museum of the Arts. The exhibition is co-curatored by Antonio Sergio Bessa, Bronx Museum Director of Curatorial Programs; and Jessamyn Fiore, independent curator and co-director of the Matta-Clark Estate. The Rose Art Museum presentation is organized by Ruth Estévez, Senior Curator-at-Large, with Caitlin Julia Rubin, Assistant Curator.
