On Monday, May 12, the Rose Art Museum lit up New York City with its first Gala in over two decades—and what a spectacular return it was! The evening was a vibrant celebration of art, community, and bold vision, honoring two extraordinary individuals: Lizbeth Krupp, Chair of the Rose’s Board of Advisors, and acclaimed artist Hugh Hayden. It was a night to remember—and a night to make history.

Together, we launched our most ambitious initiative yet: a $2 million Exhibition Endowment Fund to support groundbreaking, thought-provoking exhibitions for years to come. An inspiring lead gift from the incomparable Lizbeth Krupp made this bold beginning possible.
The room sparkled with over 300 guests, including artists, curators, collectors, and Rose champions old and new—all united by a passion for contemporary art and a shared belief in the museum's mission. And the result? We raised over $940,000 in a single night! As Cultured Magazine noted: "With such a triumphant return to the circuit, one thing is clear: the Rose Art Museum doesn’t just keep pace with the art world—it helps chart the course."
There's still time to contribute to our 2025 Gala! With your support, the Rose Art Museum can achieve its goal of ensuring curatorial independence and artistic freedom. Show your support by making a gift today.
