CANCELED -- Conversations in the Meeting Game: First Generation Students

March 13, 2020, 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
This event has been canceled in light of developments surrounding COVID-19 and Brandeis University policies and recommendations surrounding public events. The Rose Art Museum is reviewing our upcoming public programs and updating our schedule accordingly.

Join jamele adams, Brandeis University's Dean of Students, for an open dialogue about some of the issues first generation students may encounter as they enter college life. Being the first in the family to attend college carries a uniqueness to it that at times can generate uncertainty both on campus and at home.

Help us unpack what it all might mean in an interactive conversation where participants are encouraged to share their voice, cultivate community, and allow for deeper engagement across campus. This conversation will be facilitated with artist Caroline Woolard’s experiential project The Meeting Game (2019–ongoing), currently on view in INDEX: The Meeting.

This program is free and open to all. Space is limited, please RSVP.
