"Theorem" with Elizabeth Bradfield and Antonia Contro

November 17, 2020, 5:30 p.m.

Join us for a discussion with poet and Brandeis faculty member Elizabeth Bradfield and artist Antonia Contro, who will discuss "Theorem," their collaborative visual and literary book.

Hand-bound, letterpressed, and with original hand working of each book, "Theorem" presents a subtle yet dynamic conversation between text and image, each form existing independently yet intimately connected.

The conversation will be introduced by Dr. Gannit Ankori, Henry and Lois Foster Director and Chief Curator (interim) of the Rose Art Museum, and moderated by Brandeis faculty member Sonia Almeida. Sarah Shoemaker of the Archives and Special Collections Department will display dynamic images from the book in real-time from the Brandeis Library.

This program will be hosted online via Zoom Webinar. Closed captions will be provided.

This program is co-sponsored by the Rose Art Museum and the Brandeis University Library Archives and Special Collections Department.
