Spend the afternoon learning about art on view at Brandeis with a cross-campus tour from the Rose Art Museum and the Women’s Studies Research Center’s Kniznick Gallery.
We will begin at the Kniznick Gallery with a tour of Wrongs & RIGHTS, a 22-artist multimedia exhibition that explores the intergenerational and intersectional battle for reproductive justice. The exhibition acknowledges our part in the struggle and compels us to act.
We will then walk together to the Rose Art Museum for a tour of the visceral sculptures of Hugh Hayden: Home Work and a discussion of women’s labor and autonomy. At once captivating and unnerving, Hayden’s work invites us to reconsider our beliefs about the American dream.
