Forest of Changing Shapes Film Series: The Enchanted
The second installment of the Forest of Changing Shapes Film Series steps into the eerie world of folk horror with the 1984 film The Enchanted. The film is set in a dark, natural, and supernatural landscape and uses visuals and a hypnotic sense of atmosphere to build unease. Director Carter Lord uses the forest and its creatures to suggest a haunting otherworldliness.

FILM SYNOPSIS
A young rancher named Royce Hagan returns home to his family's ranch in Florida’s backwoods, where he falls in love with a mysterious woman who appears from nowhere.
