SFS Updates

Student Account Balance Change Notifications
Starting Wednesday, July 16th,  Student Financial Services will send a weekly notification to students if their balance has changed in the past week.  Notices will be sent to the Brandeis email and students should share this information with Authorized Parties.    The first notice will reflect changes to the balance since the fall bill was issued on July 7th.
 
These notices will allow students to know if we've received a payment or if charges or financial aid have changed.   Changes may include increases or decreases to charges, financial aid, one time payments, and/or payment plans.   It will include the current account balance and students should log into Workday, Student Account, Nelnet Student Account Portal to view the Transaction Details.  (Parents added as Authorized Parties in Nelnet should log in with their own credentials at the Nelnet login page)   The balance on the Nelnet main page and transaction details will update in real time to reflect any changes to the account.  (Please note the View Current Bill link does not update - this is a snapshot of your account balance and transactions at the time the e-bill was issued)  Please review and make payments according to the published due date policies available on our website.  
Fall 2025 Bill
The Fall 2025 e-bill will be released on July 7, 2025 and will be due August 8, 2025. The link to the e-bill will be sent by email to students and their authorized parties. The email will come from our billing partner, Nelnet, from the email address noreply@campuscommerce.com with a subject of BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY BILL AVAILABLE. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam filters. This is a valid email on behalf of Brandeis University.
Undergraduate Financial Aid Application Webinar

SFS presented a webinar about the 2025-2026 financial aid application process for continuing undergraduate students on February 10, 2025.   The webinar included details about the 2025-2026 financial aid application process for continuing students, how last year's FAFSA changes are affecting this year's application, the appeal process, emergency funding, and other related topics.  The recording can be viewed online.

Cash Payments

Until further notice, Brandeis will not accept cash payments. We continue to receive e-check and credit card payments through the Student Account Center. Review our payment options for more information.

Employment

We also coordinate all hourly on-campus student employment and maintain an up-to-date listing of all available on- and off-campus job opportunities.
